SATO Group aims to make rapid progress on the world stage with speed and innovation.

SATO Corporation changed to a holding company structure on October 3, 2011, with the aim of achieving further growth.

The Company currently has offices in 23 countries and does business in more than 90 countries across the world. The overseas sales ratio has also risen to 25%. While we continue to anticipate growth in the Japanese market as the industry leader, we also aim to achieve the largest share of the global market, estimated to be more than ten times the size of the Japanese market.

To compete on the world stage, speedy management is essential. The Company will enhance its mobility by encouraging the independence and decentralization of its Group companies and promote innovation among all employees. In doing so, we will cultivate the next generation of leaders, capable of playing an active role in our international business.

SATO is an organization that values change. Since its founding in 1940, the Company has been built upon the ideal of ‘Ceaseless Creativity’, set out by our founder, Yo Sato. From the very beginning, the Company has always seen a rapidly changing business environment as an opportunity for individuals to make continuous small changes for the greater good.

We will continue to accumulate small changes to resolve issues of precision, labor savings, and resource savings for customers worldwide using our original business model of DCS (Data Collection Systems) & Labeling.
